This is a personal treatment tailored to your individual needs. Remember, no two people are the same. Whether you feel like having a full bronzed body tan, a light shade on your face and shoulders, or give legs that haven’t seen the sun for months a make-over, we can advise and apply according to your needs.
We have a product range to suit all skin types, ensuring the most natural tone every type. During your initial consultation to establish your tanning requirements and a patch test will be given. The treatment can be carried out as soon as 24 hours later.
For the spray tanning it is best to exfoliate the night before your cosmetic tan appointment (not on the day of application). This will remove dead skin and provide a new, smooth surface. Exfoliating helps to promote an even coverage and lengthens the duration of the tan.
We advise you to carry out any hair removal procedures at least 8 hours before your tanning appointment.
Refrain from eyelash tinting 12 hours before and after a tanning appointment as the peroxide reacts with the DHA.
Avoid wearing make-up and moisturiser on the face as this acts as a barrier to the spray and stops the process from being fully completed, reducing the quality of the application.
Deodorant should be avoided immediately prior to your tanning appointment as this may be temporarily discoloured by the DHA.
We recommend that you wear dark loose fitting clothing. Cosmetic tan washes out of most clothing very easily but tends to stain nylon and lycra materials, therefore dark coloured clothing is recommended. Be careful after your tanning appointment of wearing long boots as these can make your tan patchy on your legs.
